Highlights from our January 12th Meeting:

The first meeting of 2012 began with 26 members and no guest , we opened the meeting with a prayer for the members that have lost loved ones. and for the member we lost.  David read the treasure report, and on to old business the cost of a p.o. box is $45.00 a year and a one time fee of $6.00 for the keys, a motion was made to get the box, it was 2nd. and the majority of the club was in favor, David will get that taken care of and will have a key to take care of club business Thur the box.  other old business was payment from Zaxby's for the club show there, and David will send a bill out to them for that payment, that was all of the old business.

 

New business began with Rick's  input on the calling post, a motion was made to use the calling post to keep members informed on club members more than just a one time notice on long term illness, it did get a 2nd. and the majority was in agreement. 

Other new business, the All American Cruisers have an organization of car clubs that do fundraisers. there is a $50.00 annual fee, and each club has two members on the board that would keep the club up to date on what is going on in the organization. the motion was made that our club join and we chose the members to be on the board at the next meeting. it was 2nd. and the majority was in favor.  We talked about what the club would like to do for Fran and felt it would be best to do a love offering at the next meeting.

 

Other club business was sign up sheets for all of the club committees , and ask each member to look over and sign up for at least one. and that was the end of the meeting.
